These Terms govern your access to and use of Clay Academy courses, studio sessions, digital materials, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies referenced within them.

2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You must not share access to paid course materials in a way that violates these Terms.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- We may suspend or terminate access for suspected abuse or security risks.
3. Payments and Refunds
Fees are stated in USD unless otherwise indicated. By purchasing, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees, including taxes where required.
Refund eligibility depends on the specific course or session as described at the time of purchase. If a refund is available, it may be subject to time limits, attendance thresholds, or completion milestones.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in suspension of access while we investigate.
- Prices and offerings may change; changes do not affect purchases already completed.
4. Conduct
Respectful behavior is required. You agree not to harass others, disrupt learning sessions, or misuse studio tools, facilities, or materials.
- Follow instructor guidance and posted studio safety rules.
- Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, hateful, or infringes rights of others.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or bypass access controls for digital content.
5. Liability
We provide educational content “as is” and “as available.” Clay work, kilns, glazes, and tools involve inherent risks. You are responsible for using appropriate protective measures and for practicing within your skill level.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clay Academy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
6. Cancellations
For in-person sessions or limited-capacity events, cancellations may be subject to deadlines and administrative fees. No-shows may forfeit fees due to reserved capacity and instructor time.
If Clay Academy cancels a session, we may offer a reschedule, credit, or refund depending on the circumstances and the format of the offering.
7. Intellectual Property
All course videos, lesson plans, handouts, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Clay Academy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may use materials for your personal learning only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- You may not redistribute paid materials, record live sessions without permission, or publish materials as your own.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
